Morton's neuroma

Morton's neuroma is an injury to the nerve that travels between the third and fourth toes. There is burning pain in the ball of the foot that may radiate to the toes. It generally gets worse with activity and/or wearing tight shoes. There may also be numbness in the toes. It commonly affects the nerve that travels between the third and fourth toes. Morton's neuroma is more common in women than men.
